SOLEMN MASS CELEBRATING SILVER JUBILEE FOR;
12 June 2021 @ 12:00 am – 11:59 pm CAT
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kavina of Saidi Village, T/A Chikowi, Zomba – Thondwe –St. Anthony Parish, in the Diocese of Zomba.
Freely and wholeheartedly, she is committing herself to follow Christ as a religious sister in the Congregation of Sisters of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Carmelite Sisters). Her first profession shall be on 12 June 2021. Let us pray for her as she gives herself totally to God, in order to serve His people.
She was born in the family of Mr. and Mrs. Sitima of Gochi 2 Village, T/A Mpando, Ntcheu. She comes from St. Catherine Small Christian Community, Tsangano Parish, in the Diocese of Dedza. She made her first vows in 2011 and she has been serving God in the following places: St. Anne’s Parish – Ganya in the Diocese of Dedza St. Teresa Prayer House & Bethany at St. John’s Parish – Msamba in the Archdiocese of Lilongwe. At present she is serving at St. Bernadette Parish – Kadikira, in the Archdiocese of Blantyre. Sr. Florence is determined to make her perpetual vows, committing herself, to serve the Lord through the Congregation of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Carmelite Sisters). Let us pray for her to give herself joyfully to God.
She was born in the family of Mr. and Mrs. Walawati Banda, from Peter Mkola Village, at Mombezi Outstation of Nguludi Parish, in the Archdiocese of Blantyre. However, the family stayed for a long time at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, in the Archdiocese of Lilongwe. She made her first profession in 2014. She has served at St. Anne’s Parish – Ganya in the Diocese of Dedza and currently she is serving at St. Peter’s Parish – Namitete in the Archdiocese of Lilongwe. Sr. Esther is determined with love, to follow Christ till the end of her life. Her Final Commitment is on 12th June 2021. Let us help her to keep her words to the God Almighty.
Her parents Mr. and Mrs. Malomo come from Chimalambo Village. T/A Chitukula – Lilongwe – Mtengowanthenga Parish in the Archdiocese of Lilongwe. She made her First Profession in 1995 and her Final commitment in 2004. Sr. Bernadette, with dedication has served the people at the following places: St. Peter’s Parish – Namitete in the Archdiocese of Lilongwe; St. Anne’s Parish – Ganya in the Diocese of Dedza; St. Agnes Parish – Mlombozi, in the Diocese of Zomba; currently, she is serving at St. Bernadette Parish – Kadikira, in the Archdiocese of Blantyre. She has been giving herself to the Lord, serving His people with love, joy and selfless mind. She is very grateful to God for support, strength and all the graces that have helped her to serve Him up to now. Serving God in the Church for 25 years is not a Joke! She has passed through different challenges of which she managed to overcome with prayer and her deep relationship with God. Let us join her as she thanks the Lord!.
All these sisters are happy and proud as they follow Anna Paula Bove their Foundress who said “Be simple children of Our Lady of Mount Carmel”
They give themselves unreservedly to God, following Teresa of Jesus (Teresa of Avila) who said, “God alone suffices”
They are happy to be in the presence of God, pondering the Word of God day and night, and praying unceasingly just as Elijah the Prophet, Father of the Carmelites says ”God lives and I stand before Him”
